Fighting Banjos

This Banjo that came in the other week was pretty much unplayable due to the neck angle and resulting high action. It came good with some adjustment and shimming, not without a fight however, as some of the old brass screws were burred and the screw holding the truss rod firm to the neck actually broke off (down a blind hole).  Once all that was sorted though, add a fresh set of strings and it plays nice.  Customer is very happy.
